My approach to the therapeutic relationship is based on creating with the client a scared space where self-acceptance, exploration and compassion can flourish. I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding and encouragement to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill. Therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and therapist alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating thoughts, behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.
