Kristcha DeGuerre a Ph.D. level clinician who specializes in women’s issues, trauma, and mental health in Belize. She holds a Ph.D. from SUNY Albany and a MSW from the University At Denver’s Graduate School of Social Work, concentrating on clinical mental health counseling. She currently works as a counselor and lecturer for Galen University providing counseling to students and faculty.
Prior to starting her doctorate, she worked as a mental health counselor in Belize with the Ministry of Human Development, Belize City Community Counseling Center, and at the Princess Royal Youth Hostel, where she dedicated her outpatient practice to working with Belizeans of all ages to overcome mental health challenges.
